Scape Seat Bag

Bought this to replace a brand new Revelate Terrapin 14L. The Revelate has a surprising buckle flaw that causes irreversible damage to the bag if you happen to pull the wrong way when removing the inner dry bag. The Brooks bag is a bit smaller, but it was also cheaper. Based on my prior experience with Brooks stuff, my hope was that it was also higher quality and more durable, both qualities that turned out to be true. The buckle design is much better than the Revelate. I've only taken a couple short trips, but I like it a lot more. Looking forward to a big bikepack this summer.

B17 Carved

so far very satisfied with my brooks carved bike saddle :) and quality looks like superior... starting from the box, wrapping, welcome note... and ending with shiny smooth leather. Thank you for taking care of ciclists! youre doing great work!

C17 Carved

I purchased a Brooks Cambian C17 ‘carved’ in orange, for a Land’s End to John O’ Groats trip later this month. It looks amazing on my Ribble gravel bike and I’m gradually tuning to the perfect position, but it was immediately pretty comfortable, although it feels like it’s getting more so, but that might just be the adjustments. I’m not sure it’s quite as wide or as comfortable as my leather B17 and I’m therefore wondering if a C19 might be better (I’m 6’2” and 90kg), so the jury is out on that. If I can get a C19 cheaply I might try one to find out, otherwise it’ll be 1000 miles wondering ‘what if’. The main reason I’m deducting a star is because after only 40-50 miles the surface showed a slight ‘fraying’ effect, around the cutout and also round the edge where the thighs contact the saddle edge. It’s not significant and might be something to be expected from the type of coating, which is pretty unique. Overall though, it’s a lovely saddle, so I’m looking forward to our adventure together, unless the big brother turns out to be more comfortable of course…!

Trouser Strap

I purchased the pant leg strap in honey. It looks nice, and snaps to the leg, but it's not long enough to wrap around my whole leg - even at the ankle, when wearing jeans. It seems to be designed for a dress pant thickness.
