Journey - TU

I compared the Journey saddle to a popular saddle from Specialized as well as three other saddles from three other manufacturers. I found the Journey to have the softest padding and best shock absorption of the five saddles I examined. Yet, it was not the most comfortable overall. The "non-flat" shape necessitates that I attach the saddle with the horn angled upward so that I can sit properly positioned on the saddle without feeling as though I am sliding forward. However when I attach the saddle in this manner and because the saddle shape is not flat, my genitals feel constant pressure from contact with the saddle horn. Although this might be less concerning to females, I found the saddle somewhat uncomfortable after extended periods despite the cushy padding and excellent shock absorption. Given the above, I am in process of returning the Journey saddle for a refund.

Excellent experience with Selle Royal—great product quality and customer service. Unfortunately, the delivery by UPS was disappointing. The package was delivered to a pickup point instead of my home address, and this is not the first time this has happened. I hope this issue can be addressed, as it detracts from an otherwise excellent customer experience.

Für kurze Strecken gut: Bis 35 km fährt es sich sehr angenehm. Bei längeren Touren bis 60 km bekomme ich (weiblich) leider Probleme mit Wundreiben im Schambereich und in der Gesäßfalte.
